P-1. BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE - PART TIME (WEEKENDS)

Eligibility & Prerequisites:


The 'basic' course students must have an attitude to learn photography with at least school final, higher secondary education. They must posses a 35mm
SLR / Digital SLR camera and a portable flash.


Duration: 10 weekends (2.30 to 5.00pm on Saturdays and 10.00am to 12.30pm on Sundays)

Fees : Indian Rupees.8000/= (for foreign students USD.350/=)
   
What you'll learn from this course ?

To see the subject. To see is more than looking and to become a photographer one must know to see the world around.

Understanding the limitations of a camera and human eye. Yes, the way you see a subject may not appear in a photograph. Why is this ?. And how to make your camera  work for you.

   
To make photos. Making a photo is a process and taking a photo is an accident. Good photos happen with imagination, planning and understanding the equipments.

To see the light around. Of the most important elements of photography, light is very special and learning to understand the natural light variations and artificial light
and making it to work is important for a good photographer.

To shoot families, friends and events. People photography is something one practices to prove the talent of photography. You win people’s confidence by  specializing event photography and child portraits.

   

The great outdoors. If you love landscapes, you can even make money from your photos.

Composition is all
. Understanding the principles of composition in detail to communicate through powerful photos.

Simple portraits.  Out door – available light – Basic studio lighting set up – shooting passport and simple portraits.

Through extensive lessons, practical exercises and reviews.


What will you get on  completion of the course ?

Completion of the course means, theory tests, and submission of final project to the standard which are mandatory for the course.

You'll get a certificate of Basic photography.
